Description
The U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul is soliciting quotes for the rental of two sedan-type vehicles. The contract will be for a firm fixed-price, one-year period, from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The vehicles must be sedan models with a minimum 1.6-liter gasoline or diesel engine, automatic transmission, 4 doors, and a 4-passenger capacity. They should be the latest model or one year old, in excellent condition with air conditioning. The contractor is responsible for providing proof of vehicle registration, mandatory traffic insurance, and full (kasko) insurance before delivery. Vehicles must be replaced monthly or more frequently upon request, and replacements must be of a different color with different license plates than the previous rental. The contractor must also provide vehicles within four hours of notice in case of emergency replacement requests. All costs, including managerial, administrative, operational, and maintenance expenses, as well as vehicle insurance, are to be included in the rental price. Vehicles will be delivered with full tanks of gas or diesel, and the contractor will bill fuel charges as an additional actual cost. The contractor will equip vehicles with tires in good or excellent condition and comply with Turkish automotive maintenance and safety regulations, including providing winter tires as needed.
