Description
The Orlando Utilities Commission seeks suppliers to provide emergency restoration services for its electric distribution, transmission, and substation systems following hurricanes, tornadoes, and other major natural or man-made disasters. Work may include repairing and replacing poles, transformers, lines, conductors, insulators, foundations, and substation structures and equipment. Suppliers must be prepared to respond when requested, potentially around the clock, and provide the labor, supervision, equipment, and materials needed for assigned work. Proposers may offer services for all or selected disciplines. Proposals must include rates for 2027 and 2028 using the provided Excel pricing schedule, along with bidder information and qualifications, relevant project references, storm pay policies, and the required compliance forms. The contract term runs from the date of the last signature through May 31, 2029. Payment and performance bonds may be required when services are requested; the solicitation states that no bid bond is required.
