Description
The City of Dexter is soliciting sealed bids for the Dexter Shared-Use Path—Phase IV, a project that will add a 5- to 10-foot-wide concrete walking trail connecting Dexter High School and Dexter Middle School. The work includes stormwater pipes and inlets, earthwork and grading, striping and signage, seeding and mulching, and temporary traffic control. The lowest responsive, responsible bidder is expected to be selected, although the City may reject all bids. Bidders must follow the MoDOT pre-qualification process. The solicitation identifies a 0% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise contract goal, requires completion of DBE identification submittal forms, and states that awarded contractors and subcontractors must provide a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Program for on-site employees.
