The Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Service Academy (CSA) is seeking proposals from accredited U.S. institutions of higher education, designated as National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C), to develop and manage grant-funded scholarship programs in cyber-related disciplines for the 2025-2026 academic year. The program aims to recruit new cyber talent and retain skilled professionals within the DoD cyber workforce, while also enhancing the national pipeline for cyber personnel development. Proposals may include collaboration with other accredited institutions, including minority institutions. Additionally, NCAE-Cs may request modest support for institutional capacity building, such as faculty development, laboratory improvements, and curriculum development in cyber-related topics. The funding opportunity also includes provisions for a DoD Cyber Registered Apprenticeship program and a DoD CSA Recruitment Student Boot Camp, with specific budget allocations for each.
