Description
The City of Bardstown is soliciting a contractor for rehabilitation and improvements to Lagoon No. 1 at the Town Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant. The work includes approximately 154,000 square feet of new f-RPP geomembrane liner and non-woven geotextile fabric, liner anchor trenches, approximately 16,000 cubic yards of borrow clay for a divider berm, and removal and disposal of designated existing rip rap. Additional work includes placing and compacting clay soil, regrading and removing rock, installing seven surface aerators with controls and power improvements, modifying the existing flow splitter box and gates, installing approximately 400 linear feet of epoxy-coated 12-inch ductile iron pipe and 300 linear feet of epoxy-coated 8-inch ductile iron pipe, furnishing 12-inch and 8-inch knife gate valves, completing tie-ins to existing lines, and installing a WAS decant scum baffle with ductile iron piping connected to an existing 24-inch pipe. Miscellaneous appurtenances and related activities are also included.
