Description
Central Virginia Regional Library is soliciting proposals for symmetrical, fully managed dedicated Internet access with transport service at three library locations. Offerors must provide bandwidth options from 500 Mbps through 1 Gbps, with service dedicated to the applicant, no usage caps or throttling, and delivery through the building demarcation point/MDF. Providers must accept responsibility for site delivery, construction, permitting, pathways, and rights-of-way required to deliver the service. Proposals must include all monthly recurring, non-recurring, and special construction charges, along with any applicable taxes and surcharges, static IP address pricing, router lease options, demarcation-point equipment details, and service-provider terms and conditions. Contracted-service pricing is requested for 36-month and 60-month terms, with voluntary two-year extensions; month-to-month offers will also be considered. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027, subject to funding and execution of a valid agreement or purchase order.
