Description
Public Works and Government Services Canada requires an electrical engineering firm to act as prime consultant, supported by a multidisciplinary team of sub-consultants, for a project at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Lowe Road site in Saskatoon. The work includes replacing the main transformer and associated distribution systems to accommodate new electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The site’s electrical service is supplied through a utility-owned pad-mounted transformer connected to the maintenance building’s main distribution center. This is Phase One of a two-phase Invitation to Qualify process. Phase One evaluates the required Indigenous Eligibility Certification; qualified offerors will be invited in Phase Two to submit technical and financial bids. The opportunity is limited to Indigenous offers, although a joint venture between Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses may satisfy the eligibility requirements. The estimated contract period is 20 months, with a proposed start date of January 4, 2027.
