Description
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health for a supplemental issue of Public Health Reports, the official journal of the Office of the Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service. The issue, titled “Scientific Foundations of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2020: Chapter Perspectives and Research Priorities,” will be published in both print and online formats. The notice states that the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health holds the existing publishing contract with Sage Publications, and that the Government intends to use that existing publishing arrangement. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement, but responses will be considered only to determine whether a competitive procurement should be conducted; this notice is not itself a solicitation for proposals.
