Description
The contractor must provide at least six Class C drivers and six utility vans for weekday routes transporting reusable dental and medical instruments between the West Los Angeles campus and five remote clinical locations. The service includes delivering clean instruments and collecting contaminated instruments in spill-proof containers, maintaining separation between clean and contaminated items, recording temperature and humidity at pickup and delivery, completing vehicle and cleaning logs, and promptly reporting transportation issues. Drivers must also obtain transfer signatures, clean vehicles daily with the specified disinfectant, provide backup coverage, and supply their own transport equipment; the contractor is responsible for vehicle maintenance and fuel.
