Description
Atlantic County seeks suppliers to furnish and deliver inmate uniforms and related supplies for the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Items include shirts, trousers, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, T-shirts, canvas and shower shoes, clogs, blankets, sheets, mattresses with pillows, laundry bags, towels, razors, and personal-care supplies. The specifications provide estimated quantities and detailed material, construction, color, sizing, and performance requirements; bidders must price all items within any category they choose to bid on. Sample uniforms may be requested for evaluation, and samples must be provided within 48 hours of request at the vendor’s expense. The contract term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with an option for one additional year at the same rates, terms, and conditions. Deliveries are to be made within 21 days after notification by fully executed purchase order, with no minimum order. Award is by category to the lowest responsible bidder. The bid requires three references for comparable inmate-uniform work performed during calendar year 2019. Bid security of 10% of the total bid, capped at $20,000, and a consent of surety are required with the bid; a 100% performance bond is required from the successful bidder after award.
