Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking 52 brand-name Motorola APX 8000 All Band Portable Model 2.5 radios and associated software, licenses, batteries, earpieces, remote speaker microphones, belt loops, and desktop multi-unit chargers. The radios must support specified 700/800 MHz, VHF, and UHF bands; P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 trunking; SmartZone operation; encryption; GPS/GLONASS; Bluetooth; IP68 protection; and other mission-critical communications features. The contractor must provide delivery within 60 days of award, device programming, and code plug development. The Government will not provide the system key, fleet map, or existing code plug, so the vendor must supply them. The procurement is unrestricted but restricts the products to Motorola equipment for compatibility with the existing Motorola radio network.
