Description
The City of Columbus, Department of Water & Power, Division of Power, is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of two new and unused Terex Commander 4047 47-foot digger/derrick trucks, or approved equals. Each truck must have a minimum 33,000-pound GVW rating, a utility body, insulated three-stage boom, specified lifting and digging capabilities, hydraulic outriggers, safety and lighting equipment, and extensive chassis, body, electrical, and hydraulic features. The equipment must comply with applicable City, state, federal, OSHA, SAE, ODOT, FMVSS, and EPA requirements. Bidders must provide firm fixed pricing, manufacturer warranty coverage of at least 12 months, warranty-service logistics through a franchised OEM dealer, current product literature, dealer build sheets, experience and warranty-service documentation, at least four similar customer references, and subcontractor information if applicable. The successful vendor must provide at least one 16-hour mechanical training option and deliver the completed units to the City's Fleet Management Division.
