Description
The City of Moses Lake is seeking a contractor to upgrade Bemis Street and Sybel Lane from gravel to paved streets with curb, gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, street lighting, and an upgraded 8-inch PVC water main with side services. The project also includes paving approximately 175 feet of Milwaukee Avenue to connect existing pavement to Broadway Avenue. Major quantities include replacement of the existing 6-inch AC water main with approximately 1,550 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main, 32 water service connections, aggregate base and hot-mix asphalt paving, six catch basins, two drywells, approximately 140 linear feet of 8-inch storm sewer, 3,400 linear feet of curb and gutter, 2,720 square yards of concrete pavement, preparation for six public-utility-district street lights, utility casting adjustments, and three new 4-inch PVC sewer connections. The estimated project cost is $1,550,000 to $1,750,000, with 100 contract working days.
