Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for civil works at the Sierra Leone Police Training School in Hastings, Freetown. The scope covers rehabilitation of the library, multipurpose hall, and classroom buildings, including demolition and repairs, foundations and concrete work, block work, doors and windows, ceilings, roofing, tiling, painting, drainage, electrical installations, plumbing, sanitary fixtures, and related external works. The bill of quantities also includes items such as air-conditioning units, water-tank and plumbing work, septic-tank rehabilitation, a concrete stage platform, and a security post. Bidders may submit for only one lot. The technical submission must address the specifications and implementation approach, include a detailed five-week work plan and Gantt chart, and provide the required company, financial, experience, personnel, licensing, tax, safety, equipment, and technical documentation. The works must be completed and handed over no later than five weeks after contract signing and site handover. The award will be based on the lowest price among technically responsive bids; bid security and performance security are not required.
