The U.S. General Services Administration intends to award approximately 18 contracts under a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle for comprehensive general construction services. The scope includes construction, repair, alteration, and modernization of existing federally owned and leased facilities, including office renovations; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work; fire sprinkler systems; sitework; exterior repairs, facades, roofs, demolition and hazardous-material abatement; elevator modernization; and work in laboratories, SCIFs, high-security buildings, data centers, and critical infrastructure environments. Design-build and traditional design-bid-build delivery methods may be required. The contract will have a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods, for a possible five-year performance period. The cumulative maximum ordering limit is $500 million, with typical task orders ranging from $350,000 to $10 million. Evaluation factors will include prior experience, past performance, and evidence of at least $10 million in bonding capacity per project. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside with reserves for 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, and SDVOSB concerns.
