Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is procuring 19 low-temperature plant growth chambers under Supply Arrangement E60PV-19EQUI: four for the Saskatoon Research and Development Centre, four for the Morden Research and Development Centre, two for the Brandon Research and Development Centre, and nine for the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre. Only suppliers currently pre-qualified under the supply arrangement may submit bids, and award will be recommended to the responsive bidder offering the lowest aggregate price while meeting all mandatory technical criteria. The chambers must be new, current-production reach-in units with adjustable shelving, specified temperature ranges and low-temperature operation, tiered LED lighting, humidity control, appropriate electrical configurations, casters, CFC-free refrigerant systems, and operational controls with data logging, graphing, alarms, and building-management-system connectivity where specified. Requirements also include a minimum two-year parts-and-labor warranty for small units and delivery of operational manuals, maintenance documentation, and technical information.
