La Société québécoise des infrastructures is soliciting construction work at the Trois-Rivières detention facility, including renovation and modernization of the central control and security systems, expansion of administrative offices, and installation of video-conferencing rooms to support remote court appearances and improve judicial operations. The plans and specifications contain confidential information and will be released electronically through a secure OneDrive link only to bidders that complete the required confidentiality and security-clearance process. The work must be completed within 52 weeks. The probable work-start window has been revised to between December 1, 2026, and January 14, 2027. A bid security equal to 10% of the bid amount is required. Eligible bidders must hold the required building licenses, maintain a permanent establishment in Quebec or an applicable intergovernmental-agreement territory, and perform Quebec or otherwise Canadian construction work.
