Description
Citrus County is soliciting bids for construction of a reclaimed-water system connecting its Southwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility to two golf courses. The work includes facility upgrades, a flow splitter box with automated controls, approximately 22,000 feet of transmission and distribution piping, a 1.0-million-gallon ground storage tank, a high-service pump station, a booster pump station, and associated electrical, instrumentation, site, and appurtenant work. The distribution system includes roughly four miles of piping to one golf course and one mile to the other. The bid requires completion of the County-provided Excel bid form and responses to the portal’s required questions, certifications, and forms. Required submission materials include current insurance evidence, subcontractor information if applicable, business registration evidence or a conditional statement, bid security when the bid is at least $100,000, a qualification statement, applicable licenses and certifications, MOT certification, and a human-trafficking affidavit. The project has an estimated budget of approximately $9,843,068. The successful bidder will be subject to a 50% cap on subcontracted work and, if the bid meets the stated threshold, must provide payment and performance bonds after award.
