Description
The State of New Jersey, through the Division of Purchase and Property on behalf of the Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, is soliciting proposals for online and traditional data entry and verification services. The contractor will process digitally imaged documents through NJDREAMS and related systems, manually key paper forms, and handle approximately 4 to 8 million documents annually, including income tax returns, corporate and partnership tax filings, property tax reimbursements and rebate applications, motor vehicle documents, vouchers, checks, and other documents. The contractor must provide staffing, facilities, equipment, secure communications, quality control, tracking, disaster recovery, backup, and operational continuity. Services must be performed in person at a United States facility, with manual keying and paper-document storage within 50 miles of 200 Woolverton Street, Building 20, Trenton, New Jersey. Requirements include an error rate below 0.5%, turnaround times of one to ten business days depending on document type and season, compliance with IRS Publication 1075 for federal tax information, background checks, security plans, disaster recovery and backup plans, and pricing for twelve required price lines; the thirteenth training line must not be priced. One contract is anticipated, with small-business subcontracting requirements.
