Description
The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest seeks snow removal, de-icing, and related winter maintenance at its chancery, the Chief of Mission’s residence, and another designated residence. Work is ordered as needed during seasonal service windows and includes clearing roads, walkways, driveways, and parking areas; staging equipment and personnel in response to weather; and lawful removal and disposal of snow. The contractor must provide qualified staff, supervision, equipment, fuel, tools, PPE, transportation, insurance, and other resources, while the Embassy may furnish specified consumable materials and, in emergencies, certain snow-removal equipment. Quotations must include a technical approach, staffing plan, equipment and tools inventory, a three-scenario snow-removal action plan, relevant experience, completed pricing for the base and option periods, company information and required representations or certifications, and insurance information and acknowledgment of security/access requirements. The contract is an IDIQ with a one-year base period and two one-year options; the stated maximum aggregate ceiling is $200,000. The solicitation requests electronic submission by email and specifies a 30 MB maximum per email submission.
