Description
This Sources Sought notice requests written capability and market feedback regarding interior finishes for the planned P530 Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The attached draft interior finish schedule identifies flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, paint, countertops, cabinets, partitions, window shades, transition strips, corner guards, and related finish materials, including specified brand-name products and acceptable equivalent manufacturers. Respondents are asked to address product availability and lead times in Japan and Okinawa, identify comparable Japanese or international products with manufacturer and model information, provide product literature and applicable Japanese Industrial Standards compliance, and comment on whether the specified brands could unnecessarily restrict competition or increase costs. The notice is for market research only and will not result in a contract award. Participation is limited to local sources licensed and qualified to perform construction work in Japan under the Japanese Construction Business Act.
