Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a contractor for the rehabilitation of the Coral Wet Lab Unit at Aqaba Marine Reserve. The scope includes site construction, demolition, excavation, concrete, masonry and stone work, metal fabrication, waterproofing, insulation, roofing, doors, finishes, furnishings, plumbing, drainage, sanitary fixtures, water tanks, water heaters, exhaust fans, split air-conditioning, electrical distribution, lighting, structured cabling, CCTV, UPS equipment, and outdoor LED display screens. The contractor must provide testing, commissioning, defect remedy, handover, implementation planning, technical and financial offers, relevant project experience, qualified personnel, financial documentation, licenses and registrations, and detailed bills of quantities. The contract completion period is 90 calendar days from commencement, with a one-year warranty and a one-year defects liability period. A performance security of 10 percent of the accepted contract amount is required after award.
