Description
The City of Talladega is soliciting sealed bids for FY2026 city-wide select street rehabilitation within the city limits. The work includes approximately 2,288 tons of bituminous concrete paving, 2,773 gallons of tack coat, and 22,833 square yards of planing existing bituminous concrete wearing surface to a depth of 0–2 inches. The project will be awarded under one contract. Bidders must submit complete original proposal forms furnished by the engineer. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the City of Talladega, equal to at least 5% of the bid amount and capped at $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Applicable Alabama general-contractor licensing must be demonstrated, including displaying the current license number on the sealed envelope.
