Description
The City of Kamloops is seeking up to two qualified general contractors for an ongoing standing-offer arrangement covering medium-scale civic facility projects valued from $1 million to $15 million. The scope includes new construction and renovations, with contractors involved early so designs can be finalized collaboratively through a coordinated team. Potential delivery models include MMCD unit-rate contracts, CCDC 2, CCDC 5, CCD14, and, for higher-risk or innovative projects, Integrated Project Delivery. Work may be assigned based on best fit, experience, availability, past performance, capacity, schedule, project suitability, project-specific pricing, lowest bid, or urgent mobilization needs. No minimum work volume is guaranteed, although the City anticipates that annual assignments to each successful proponent may approximate $5 million. The City will qualify up to two contractors. Proposals must include the completed Submission Form (Appendix B), a rated proposal limited to 60 pages excluding appendices, and Appendix C pricing materials, including the Sample Project Manpower Allocation Chart and Total Fee Estimate.
