Description
The Government of The Bahamas, through the Ministry of Finance and the Bahamas Agricultural & Industrial Corporation, is soliciting a complete electrical infrastructure upgrade for the Andros Packing House. The contractor must investigate and verify existing services, transformers, feeders, panels, loads, grounding, and site conditions; prepare engineered load, short-circuit, protection-coordination, voltage-drop, arc-flash, and grounding studies; and design the final distribution system. The work includes service and transformer coordination or replacement where required; main switchgear, distribution panels, feeders, branch circuits, conduits, grounding and bonding, surge and fault protection, weatherproof equipment, and dedicated 277/480-volt three-phase refrigeration/reefer connections. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, installation, utility coordination, testing, commissioning, training, outage planning, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance documentation, warranties, and closeout deliverables. Optional pricing is requested for a generator and automatic transfer switch, solar photovoltaic equipment, battery storage, transformer replacement or relocation, and other identified alternates. A mandatory site visit is required, and the bid must include technical, licensing, qualification, experience, safety, schedule, warranty, compliance, equipment, and financial submissions.
