Description
Planada Elementary School District is soliciting separate proposals and pricing for dedicated point-to-point leased dark fiber and 10 Gbps leased lit fiber circuits connecting three entities. Dark fiber proposals must include ongoing maintenance and operations; the district also requests options for an indefeasible right to use (IRU) and related maintenance. Shared or point-to-multipoint configurations and bundled pricing are not acceptable. Lit fiber proposals must include itemized quotations, service-level agreement documentation, technical details, and an estimated implementation timeline. The RFP also requests separate pricing for each circuit and option, and an installment plan over four years for the non-discounted portion of eligible special-construction costs. The stated service term is up to five years for leased circuits; the IRU term is perpetual.
