Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to make a sole-source award to Omnicell, Inc. for maintenance and repair of government-owned Omnicell automated supply dispensing equipment. The contractor must provide onsite, telephone, and emergency repair support, with 24/7 telephone availability, onsite response within 24 hours during normal duty hours, and emergency response within six hours. The contractor must provide management, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and new replacement parts; parts must be warranted for at least 90 days. The Government's Biomedical Engineering Department, rather than the contractor, is responsible for preventive maintenance, but the contractor must provide spare parts for preventive maintenance and software upgrades at no charge. The contractor must submit written repair reports within 10 working days after repairs, including service details and parts receipts. The draft SOW also specifies service availability and repair performance thresholds, normal duty hours, and contractor employee identification requirements.
