Description
The project involves furnishing and installing traffic signal and intelligent transportation system improvements to support an adaptive signal control system being procured under a separate contract. Work includes new vehicle detection systems and a fiber-optic communications system along SR 303, connecting to the City’s existing demarcation point at its facility complex on Olympus Drive NE. Work must be physically completed within 50 working days after the commencement date in the Notice to Proceed, and must comply with the contract plans, contract provisions, and 2026 WSDOT Standard Specifications. The engineer’s estimated project cost is $1,275,000 to $1,475,000. A bid deposit equal to 5% of the bid is required, and the project has a 7% Federal Small Business Enterprise goal.
