Description
Cegep de Sorel-Tracy is soliciting proposals for demolition and partial renovation work at the existing Guy-Belanger Auditorium. The work will be performed at the institution's existing building and includes demolition and partial renovation of the facility. A mandatory site visit is required before submission, and the bidder's representative must sign the attendance sheet. The bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the total proposed price, including options. Electronic submissions may use a surety bond or irrevocable letter of guarantee; paper submissions may additionally use a certified cheque, postal money order, or bank draft. The submission must also include a surety commitment letter covering the required performance and labor, material, and services obligations. The estimated contract duration is eight months. Performance and labor, material, and services bonds, each equal to 50% of the total contract amount including taxes, are required within 15 days after award.
