Description
The Charge Ready NY 2.0 program (PON 5367) has been extended to December 31, 2026, and provides incentives for the installation of electric vehicle charging ports at workplaces or multi-unit dwellings (MUDs). The incentive has been increased to $3,000 per port for workplace or MUD locations, with an additional $1,000 per port available for eligible Level 2 charging equipment at a Disadvantaged Community (DAC) workplace or MUD location. Public facilities are no longer eligible locations. Revisions include updated site eligibility rules, signage requirements, and clarified MUD location criteria. There are also incentive caps for Equipment Owners ($300,000 annually) and Installers ($1 million annually). Minimum requirements include installing at least four charging ports per site.
