Description
Hydro-Québec is soliciting qualified electricians and master electrical contractors to perform on-demand work at Hydro-Québec customer locations as part of the IMA 2.0 project. The scope includes repairing broken meter bases and performing repairs, replacements, modifications, securing, and code-compliance work on electrical installations so meter-replacement activities can continue or be completed. The work covers the Capitale-Nationale, Chaudière-Appalaches, Lanaudière, Laurentides, Montérégie, Montréal, and Abitibi-Témiscamingue regions. Subcontracting is permitted but may not exceed 50% of the resources required for a given region. Bidders must meet stated Quebec regulatory and construction requirements, including applicable RBQ licensing, CCQ registration, AMP authorization, and other listed legal and safety requirements. A bid security of 5% of annual value is required, capped at CAD 200,000; performance and payment guarantees are required at award. The solicitation states that only qualified suppliers may bid on a subsequent request for proposals and identifies a qualification duration of 36 months, with renewal options.
