Description
This solicitation is for general electrical repairs identified during a previous building inspection at six national parks within the state of Alaska. The contractor shall provide adequate professional supervision and quality control to assure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of work. All work shall be performed or directly supervised by an individual possessing an Electrical Administrator's License issued by the State of Alaska. The contractor shall perform an initial site visit and facility walkthrough to familiarize themselves with the work and field-verify all new and existing dimensions affecting the work before ordering products. Any discrepancies between contract specifications and field conditions, as well as any additional electrical code-related issues, shall be brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer before any work is performed. Weekly work progress reports, including repairs completed organized by building with pictures as appropriate, shall be submitted electronically to the COR in PDF format. All materials and equipment shall be of new condition from reputable manufacturers and listed and labeled by an approved national testing laboratory. All execution of work shall comply with the latest adopted editions of the National Electrical Code (NEC), all applicable NFPA Codes, OSHA Regulations, the National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS) by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
