Description
The City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified organizations to serve as one-stop operators and primary Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I adult and dislocated worker service providers. This RFP is open to a list of 25 qualified organizations that resulted from a prior Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. The selected providers will operate WorkSource Centers (WSCs) in specific Community Plan Areas (CPAs): Boyle Heights CPA, Southeast Los Angeles/Watts CPA, and West Adams-Baldwin Hills-Leimert CPA or South Los Angeles CPA. The WSCs will offer a range of services including basic career guidance, individualized career planning, skills training, and direct job placement, with a focus on serving high-barrier populations and aligning with the Mayor's Five-Year Plan to connect Angelenos to 50,000 high-quality, living-wage jobs.
