Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a contractor to perform additional civil works for rehabilitation of the Internal Security Forces Gendarmerie Station in Adloun. The scope includes rehabilitation of the exterior perimeter fence, refurbishment and automation of vehicular and pedestrian gates, access-control integration, fence-balustrade painting, refurbishment of two toilets and one kitchen, installation of a roof-level steel staircase, refurbishment of timber and steel doors, granite stair-landing tiles, rerouting of roof-level water-supply and drainage systems, and replacement of two waterproof electrical distribution boards. The contractor must provide materials, labor, equipment, a resident Site Engineer and Foreman, work planning and execution documentation, environmental and safety measures, shop drawings and as-built documentation, and coordination with UNDP engineers and station management. The contract is expected to run for four weeks from site handover, with a 10% performance security, liability insurance coverage of up to USD 92,000 per occurrence, and liquidated damages of 0.5% of the contract value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10%.
