Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for the construction of agro-processing centres under the SCRALA Project in three lots: Lot 1 covers Namwala, Siavonga, and Chirundu; Lot 2 covers Rufunsa; and Lot 3 covers Mafinga. The works include civil and building construction, structural and metal work, roofing, finishes, drainage, boreholes, plumbing, electrical installations, and related site and processing-facility infrastructure. Bidders may submit for one or more lots, and each lot will be evaluated independently. Bids must include the prescribed eligibility, qualification, technical, and price forms; completed Bills of Quantities; method statements; implementation and mobilization plans; environmental, health and safety, and quality plans; equipment information and ownership or hire evidence; site-visit evidence for each proposed lot; company and financial documentation; relevant experience and completion certificates; and CVs and availability confirmations for required key personnel. Subcontracting is permitted up to 30% of the work. The anticipated commencement date is 2026-11-02, with works limited to four months or 16 weeks. A 10% performance security is required after award, while bid security is not required.
