Description
The project involves constructing two new parking lots at the Leeds Senior Center, including general construction, selective demolition, and concrete curb work. The work is to be completed under a single-prime contract, with the contractor providing the standard labor warranty for installation and project completion. Bids must use the furnished proposal forms or copies and include bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, capped at $10,000. The project is funded entirely with Jefferson County Community Development Block Grant funds and is subject to the Birmingham Hometown Plan, applicable wage and nondiscrimination requirements, and Section 3 requirements if the contract exceeds $100,000.
