Description
The Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board is seeking to prequalify general contractors for a new approximately 28,000-square-foot, two-storey administration and paramedic services facility at 375 Queensway Avenue in Espanola, Ontario. The project includes a pre-engineered metal building with metal cladding and a low-slope or flat roof, ambulance and vehicle facilities, paramedic services areas, offices, meeting spaces, community partner areas, site development, mechanical and electrical systems, life-safety systems, interior finishes, accessibility features, and all work required for a complete operational facility. Respondents must submit the completed and sealed CCDC 11-2019 qualification statement, bonding verification for a project valued at $20 million with 50% labour and material and 50% performance bonding, a current WSIB clearance certificate, conflict-of-interest declaration, key personnel resumes, subcontractor information, methodology, health and safety documentation, and a Domestic Supply Chain Plan attestation. Prequalification requires satisfaction of all mandatory requirements and a minimum evaluation score of 70 out of 100; only prequalified contractors will be invited to tender. The response must be uploaded through the Bonfire (Euna Procurement) portal by November 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
