Description
The U.S. Department of State is conducting a Request for Information to identify firms capable of delivering the full design, development, construction, installation, project management, and final disposition of a temporary USA Pavilion for Expo 2030. The project includes a multilevel pavilion with immersive exhibition spaces, a rooftop garden and restaurant, kitchens, back-of-house operations, VIP reception, retail and office areas, exterior landscaping, crowd-management features, and public and private spaces designed for high visitor volume. The anticipated scope also includes developing and producing the exhibition creative concept and storyline; fabricating exhibits and audio-visual, film, video, poster, and promotional materials; transporting pavilion materials and artifacts; coordinating security; and tearing down the pavilion and restoring the site as required by the exposition organizers. The pavilion plot is approximately 5,368 square meters, with a maximum gross floor area of 8,052 square meters and a maximum building height of 20 meters. The estimated design, construction, and decommissioning cost is $55 million to $65 million. Respondents must demonstrate relevant experience with immersive exhibitions, temporary facilities, international projects, high-volume visitor environments, financial and bonding capacity, foreign business operations, complex logistics, subcontractor management, and schedule management.
