Description
The U.S. Air Force Test Center intends to award a fully managed commercial internet service contract supporting 11 AF Plant 42 buildings. The service is intended to provide reliable connectivity for emergency response operations, mission partners, distinguished visitors, training activities, and quality-of-life needs. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price with a one-year base period and four option years. The notice identifies Charter Communications Operating LLC as the intended single source because it is currently the only provider with the required Commercial Internet Service Provider compliance artifacts and existing security authorizations for the Edwards Air Force Base/AF Plant 42 installations. Responses are voluntary, must be non-classified, and should be non-proprietary whenever possible.
