Description
This competitive sealed construction proposal covers renovation of the City of El Paso's Northeast Regional Command Center. The scope includes demolition and selective demolition; structural steel and concrete; roofing and roof accessories; doors, frames, security glazing, bullet-resistant doors, ballistics-resistant panels, weapons storage, and access-control hardware; interior finishes; casework; plumbing; fire suppression; HVAC; electrical work; site improvements; and related commissioning, testing, documentation, and closeout activities. The solicitation includes a base proposal and an additive alternate for creating a secured-parking exit to Dyer Street, including demolition of existing landscaping and perimeter wall or fence, a new automatic gate, electrical work, and asphalt patching. Prevailing wage requirements apply, and performance and payment bonds are required at 100% of the contract amount. The contract begins on a date specified in the Notice to Proceed, with the contract duration and substantial-completion period left TBD in the price form.
