Description
Forestry and Parks is seeking a snowmobile that meets or exceeds detailed specifications, including a two-cylinder engine with at least 590 cc displacement, fuel injection, liquid cooling, electric start, deep-snow capability, a minimum 146-inch track, and specified suspension and lug dimensions. Required equipment includes a windshield, speedometer, tachometer, 12-volt outlet, reverse gear, braking system, heated grips and throttle, halogen or LED headlights, ice scratchers, and front and rear bumpers. The snowmobile must also have at least 35 litres of fuel capacity, an onboard gas caddy system for extra fuel, and a trailer hitch intended to pull a sled or toboggan. The estimated contract period is six months, with a proposed start date of September 17, 2026.
