Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a contractor to upgrade two University of Tripoli facilities under a single requirement: the Faculty of Information Technology auditoriums and the Meeting Hall. The scope includes demolition and site preparation; civil, architectural, finishing, acoustic, waterproofing, furniture, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire-protection, ICT, audio-visual, conferencing, network, and surveillance systems. The contractor must design, supply, install, integrate, test, commission, and hand over the systems and facilities, including shop drawings, material submittals, testing and commissioning reports, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, training, and as-built documentation. The project includes a mandatory site visit, and the bidder's authorized representative must attend or be disqualified. The solicitation package requires a complete technical and price bid for both lots; partial bids are not allowed. The bidder must provide methodology and implementation planning, a detailed HSE plan, technical compliance information, eligibility and qualification evidence, relevant construction experience, financial information, company and licensing documentation, and CVs for required key personnel. The expected completion period is 120 calendar days from contract award, with an expected commencement date of 2026-12-24. A performance security of 10% of the contract value is required after selection, and the defect liability period is 12 months.
