Description
The U.S. Embassy in Rome is seeking a contractor to furnish and deliver professional, heavy-duty kitchen appliances to its cafeteria. The requirement includes 25 line items, including dishwashers, wheeled trash bins, gas deep fryers, equipment and working tables, freezers, refrigerators, a six-burner stove, pasta cooker, fry top, conventional ovens, cabinets, shelving, and automatic water softeners. The specifications identify Electrolux equipment and allow equal substitutions unless otherwise restricted. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order, with prices quoted in euros and including labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation. All items must be delivered to the embassy within 60 days after contract award. Award is expected to be made to the lowest-priced, acceptable, responsible offeror, and the Government may award based on initial quotations without discussions.
