Description
The United Nations Development Programme in Chad is soliciting bids for construction of ten rural markets in the Ouaddai, Sila, and Wadi Fira provinces, divided into ten lots at Farchana, Mata, Amazoer, Arada, Guereda, Abkhouta, Amdam, Abdi, Goz Beida, and Tissi. Each lot includes a 500-square-meter market hangar with stalls, reinforced-concrete and metal structural work, solar lighting, and a six-compartment latrine block. The package also requires associated site preparation, logistics, safety systems, environmental and social safeguards, and construction-site facilities. Bidders may submit for one or more lots, but each selected lot must be completed in full and all lots must begin concurrently. The maximum execution period is six months from issuance of the work commencement order through provisional acceptance. The solicitation requires technical, qualification, financial, environmental, and administrative submissions, including evidence of relevant construction experience, qualified personnel and equipment, a work plan, a project-specific environmental and social management plan, and a one-year maintenance commitment.
