Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for five construction lots in Chad’s Lake and Hadjer-Lamis provinces: a multifunctional platform at Tchoukouboul/Bagasola; a complete-cycle primary school at Mahada; three public latrines at Ngourtou Koumboua and Daboua; a health center at Daboua; and a primary school at Daboua. The works include civil construction, masonry, foundations, roofing, metalwork, plumbing, sanitation, electrical and photovoltaic installations, water points, boreholes, elevated water tanks, solar pumps, fencing, lighting, and related site works. Bidders may submit for one or more lots, but each lot must be bid in full and a bidder may be awarded no more than two lots. The solicitation requires a technical offer, detailed methodology and implementation schedule, environmental and social management measures, key-personnel qualifications, equipment evidence, relevant project references, certified financial statements, administrative and legal records, completed bid forms, detailed bills of quantities and unit-price schedules, and a bid security. Subcontracting is permitted up to 30% of the contractor’s estimated price. The maximum contract periods are six months for Lots 1, 2, 4, and 5, and three months for Lot 3; the stated contract start date is 2026-12-10. A performance guarantee of 10% of the contract value is required, and advance payment is permitted up to 20% subject to an advance-payment guarantee and a USD 30,000 cap.
