Description
Seneca School District R-VII is soliciting proposals for Category 1 bundled Internet access and transport services using leased, lit, dedicated synchronous fiber. The requested service must provide a minimum of 2 Gbps and support increases up to 5 Gbps during the contract term, with pricing for all requested bandwidth tiers and explicit identification of eligible and ineligible costs, taxes, and surcharges. Installation and initial configuration must be separately priced when required for new or upgraded service. Services are scheduled to begin July 1, 2027. The district is considering a three- or five-year contract structure with two voluntary 12-month extensions. Bidders must provide a valid 498 ID (SPIN), agree to support SPI or BEAR payment methods, provide the Lowest Corresponding Price, and include a written agreement to maintain a current FCC Form 473 (SPAC). Proposals will be evaluated primarily on the cost of eligible services, with additional consideration for technical compliance, relevant school or library experience, E-Rate capability, and proximity of the vendor’s service center for on-site support.
