Description
The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority is seeking subcontractor prequalification for Design Package B of the John Brantley Boulevard widening and interim curbside project. Balfour Beatty Construction is the Construction Manager at Risk and will contract with approved principal contractors. The scope includes general trades, demolition, foundations, structural and miscellaneous steel, building envelope work, interior finishes, elevators and escalators, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, earthwork, shoring, paving, concrete, fencing, landscaping, irrigation, and utilities. This is a prequalification request, not a request for bids. Only subcontractors that submit complete prequalification packages and are approved will be invited to bid. Relevant project experience will be considered, and the preliminary project budget is approximately $41,540,000. Updated prequalification documents are available through the Balfour Beatty plan room.
