Description
Hydro-Quebec is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for civil, electrical, control, and mechanical work to replace transformer T3 and circuit breakers 700-11 and 700-12 at the Montagnais substation. The scope includes concrete foundations, steel structures, cable trenches, buried cables, electrical equipment replacement, busbars, grounding, cable demolition and installation, and fire-system piping. The opportunity has an indicative value, including options, of C$5 million to C$10 million and an estimated seven-month contract period. Bids are due by November 9, 2026, at 14:00 Eastern Standard Time. Questions must be submitted to the contracting authority at least three business days before the submission deadline. The contracting authority will not necessarily accept any proposal received.
