Description
The Kentucky Fire Commission is seeking professional architectural services and an associated project team for a permanent maintenance and storage facility at the District 14 Fire Rescue Training Facility. The proposed building is approximately 80 by 125 feet, steel or metal clad, with a concrete floor, overhead and personnel doors, radiant heat in the bay area, and large overhead fans. The finished east-end area is expected to include locker rooms, restrooms and showers, a classroom, entrance lobby, above-ceiling storage mezzanine, office, and storage space. The project also includes a covered exterior concrete rehabilitation area with restroom access, concrete approaches and aprons at the overhead doors, and a concrete connection to the existing administration/classroom building. Vendors must demonstrate appropriate experience and qualifications.
