Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a sources-sought and intent-to-sole-source notice for three Cummins Onan QD 6000, model 6.0HDKAH-1044, diesel RV generators, or equal products, for emergency management. Products must be new, unused, and in original manufacturer packaging; refurbished, gray-market, and aftermarket products are not acceptable. The requested generators must provide computer-controlled variable-speed operation, sound-controlling housing, vibration-reducing mounting, self-diagnostic capabilities, accessible maintenance points, capacity to run two 15,000-BTU air conditioners, and high-quality pure sine-wave electrical output. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, business size and applicable socioeconomic qualifications, Unique Entity Identifier, answers concerning the Nonmanufacturer Rule and domestic or foreign product status, delivery schedule, applicable contract vehicles, descriptive literature, OEM authorization evidence if acting as a distributor or reseller, relevant government and commercial contract information, and optional estimated pricing for market research. The notice is for market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive quotes or proposals. Required delivery is within 25 business days of award unless otherwise approved, and the manufacturer's standard warranty applies.
